Very expensive cookware- is it worth it?

I think $350 for one soup pot is a lot.

I have 3 different size Le Creuset dutch ovens, a skillet, a pot with lid that is a mini skillet, and several of their bakeware pieces.
I love them all, and I think they are definitely worth the money. Of course I did buy most of the cast iron ones at a discount
I have some Calphalon everyday frying pans that need to be replaced so I just bought an All-Clad french skillet set that is on sale at Williams-Sonoma. I've been on the fence about switching to stainless but after reading some of the posts in here I figured I'd go for it. If I don't like it I am not out a ton of money thanks to the sale. If I do like it I will probably add some more pieces for my Christmas gift.
