After lots of false starts and indecision as hubby originally had 4 weeks holidays which got shortened to 2 weeks, we have now booked our holiday to disney world. When hubbys holidays were shortened we looked at returning for our third visit to disneyland or going to Tokyo disney. But yesterday he got up and said "lets just go to disney world". We have had to rethink our plans, as we were going to more than disney world. But now we will just do disney world.

The kids and I are very excited. We arrive at orlando on 31 Dec and have 7 nights at the POR, followed by 3 nights at Boardwalk Inn and then for my birthday 3 nights at CR with a magic kindom view and club level.

The only thing I am not excited about is the very long flight!!!!!!!!

WOW! Excellent! Sounds like you'll have a great time.

Can I ask who you are flying with and what price you got for the (long haul) ticket?

Thanks!

Sorry, it wouldn't be much good to you as we are flying on an interline ticket. The only ticket that is not interline is orlando to las angels with southwest $140 each.

Hi, I think interline ( I may be wrong) is an industry rate ( ie; where you are an airline employee).

Yes, that's right. I used to work for Qantas and interline tickets were what we'd refer to if we were travelling on another airline at interline (very cheap, normally an ID90 which is 10% of an economy fare) rates. However, freight forwarders can often get interline tickets too and of course so can travel agents but these are normally called AD (Agent discounted) tickets. Normally only airline staff got the low ID90 (standby) tickets. Agents were normally AD75's.

How exciting!

I wouldn't be looking forward to the long haul either, but it will be worth it :).

I miss interline tickets :sad1:

Congratulations on booking your holiday!!

I am another that misses interline tickets.

How lovely for you.....:( green with envy here at the thought of such cheap tix!
