Very Early in a.m. DME Questions

My DH will be flying home from WDW a few days before me. His flight (AA) is at 7:40am on a Saturday morning mid-August. Will he be able to take DME to the airport? Or is that too early? If the DME desk opens at 5:00a.m., what time do the buses actually start taking pax to the airport? We are staying at Pop.

Any help/comments/insight will be appreciated!

Yes, he will be able to use DME. The Resort Check In Counters are independent of the buses - which run 24 hours a day, although obviously far fewer buses that early in the day.
Your husband's pickup time will be about 5 AM. He will most likely need to bring his luggage with him to the bus, as, even if he's flying on a participating airline there wouldn't be enough time for him to check in and check his bags.

They do run that early. We took ME back to the airport from POP at 4:30 am the last time we were there (man, that was TOO early!)

Last november we boarded at four am from saratoga springs. it then went to other hotels and some people did not get on it, but the me bus still had to go there. next time I think I might take a taxi if I have to leave that early. We had a seven am flight and had to much time in the airport with very tired people. good luck.
