I am going to stay out of the motorcycle debate
.
About the OPs statement about praying for the girl who was in the other vehicle. Whether it was her fault or not, she will remember and relive it for the rest of her life. Even if she is cleared of all possible charges, I'm sure she will have many 'what ifs' about what could have prevented it. It is a sad situation all the way around
.
My DS was 4 when we went on a Disney cruise, and we say a fatal wreck heading back home. We must have been there just moments after it happened. It was a mini-van (we couldn't see another vehicle) in the median, quite mangled, and a whole family obviously deceased, scattered about the median and the road. We couldn't cover DS's eyes in times. He is still terrified of being on the interstate for any reason, and he is 9. And I can remember the exact scene like it was yesterday. That is something you just can't get over.
So sorry to the OP and other's who have had to witness these horrible accidents

I'm just saying that you are doing exactly what you are telling other people not to do. In other words, you were being a hypocrite in your last post. Telling people not judge the motorcyclist and assume it's always his fault, yet you assume that it has to be the car drivers fault, oh and that if it was a woman she just had to be doing something besides driving and was distracted.

What?
