Very disappointed with rude, mean people on vmk...a mother's vent.

Thank you Mimi I did as you said and wrote down the names and used the contact link on the VMK front page. I do hope someone will do something about it. I wasn't in them, but I was witness to three different fights tonight and each of the players were cursing at the others. When I asked them to be nice they said they didn't care if they got reported. So, I wrote all three down and turned them in. Now the rest is up to you VMK.

I so agree with the fact that VMK as gotten ruder. I am sorry your kids had to see it. (((Hugs)))

my 3 reasons why vmk has gotten ruder
1. jealousy of other kids having inferno or rare stuff
2. taken cute or boot baby that stuff
3. how VMK Staff handles things like this people have taken how vmk staff has inforced the rules enough to their advantage

I'm glad I could help clear up the issue with the report button, unfortunately most people will ignore that bit of advice and use the in-game report anyway.

catycatcat4: Please don't repeat what other people say when it's rude or meant in a bad way. The game's computer could pick up what you say and possibly ban you for saying it. A better way to respond to people like that is to say, "At least I have good manners." Then click on them and click that ignore button.

I have a question : can we be rude with rude ppl because we are not going to have problem of being banned ? IRL when someone is rude either you are rude with the person either you just ignore that person but i would prefer being rude than being called by bad word ...

No, you should not be rude to someone who is rude to you... what's the point? Better to take the higher ground and Like Goofy05 said... say At least I have manners... Then ignore and bop to another room....

After what happened yesterday (ppl being rude), I think in the game, I will not even talk with ppl except if they are from boards ... anyway I have no plan of becoming a CL so I dont need to talk with ppl or replying to their questions and a lot dont even say thanks for helping ...
But some time IRL when someone hurts you by saying bad words, you are more good with yourself after expressing your rant ... well, at least, that is my case ...

why shouldnt teenagers know those words, i know them, i dont use them in a game, i only use them to tell a cop off when he gives my friends and i tickets for skating.

Im so sorry to hear that your daughters have had some bad experience with vmk. If someone is mean to you on vmk or insults you what i usally do is i remember there name and i will go into the icon on the bottom right of your screen and click help then contact vmk and put in the name of the character that was insulting or bullying your daughter(s). I myself am a teen and would never think of being rude or insult anyone, but unfortunatley others think differentley. If your daughters ever think about going on vmk again i have a kid safe room where we play games and if anyone is rude or insults someone they will get booted, you can llok me up under guest rooms by my name Best- tink-a- boo or by my room name A safe place for kids to play .

That is a very good reason to report...... impersonation of staff members!

That emergency feature is used too widely for little things, like cutting in line, or not winning a prize, someone called me a name, I think one has to use their best judgement when reporting!
