Very disappointed in

Noah Wylie has stated that he will be with the show as long as the show continues to air.

I hate to loose Luka... he was so easy on the eyes!

As for last nights episode. It was good, very thought provoking, but not at all what I would consider a good season finale. It reminded me of watching M*A*S*H* without the humor and with Luka as Hawkeye and John as a cross between BJ and Radar.

I think they need to get away from all of the cutting edge stuff like cutting from night to day, and war torn areas (didn't Benton and Ross do something similar a few seasons back?) to the original premise.

really shows how good we have it over here

I think this was a very big point of the show. Even Carter, who i think is a very good, moral, and educated man was consumed with some shock at the medical needs in the African village they were in. Like when he was clueless to the polio diagnosis for the little boy at first. This was one episode that i actually wanted to watch. The others in the season were somewhat boring to me, but this brought even more of a real-life issue to television (although i am not 100% aware of what IS going on in Africa and such). It made me feel completly thankful for the fact that I have a bed to sleep in and clean water to drink.

It also brought out that other side of Lucca that i really love.

I also really liked it. I have to disagree with the person who said they should get back to the original premise. If they were not doing different things and bringing in new characters, I think the series would have run its course by now. Although I wasn't wild about the "day and night" episode, I think they should continue doing things that are out of the ordinary for TV.

I really liked the episode. I thought that it was very powerful and educational.

I am also interested to see how it affects Carter next season. I read an article last night where Noah Wylie said that he expects there to be some changes in Carter next season. Changes for the better...like he learned something from the trip and matured.
