Very disappointed in BB PTN tonight

Yikes! Sorry to hear about everyones bad experiences. :( We'll be there in a few weeks and I just made reservations for this. We'll be doing it on a Monday so I'm hoping it will be a little less crowded. We shall see...

We were thinking about doing the BB package, but now I'm re-thinking it. There will be three of us on scooters and one child. There is no way we can play "guess where the line is" on scooters, especially with parade crowds. It won't do us any good to end up at the back of the section; we'd end up with a butt view instead of a premium parade experience. Hopefully they get this fixed by the time we go.

Following since we have reservations. I do want to eat at BB, but only if the package is somewhat worth it.

I've been thinking, what can they do? What about a lottery for staggered entrance? Say, starting at 7:15, every 5 minutes, and ending at 7:45 (for parade at 8). Put all the tickets in a box and have people draw one.

They need to stop overselling their packages. I'm not interested in paying that inflated price for a meal to have to enter a lottery for when I can enter. The inflated price should give me a better experience than that.

Yes please. Need to hear updates. I have 10 days until I can book my dining, and I am really afraid to do this. We did F! on DAY 1 @river Belle. We were told to line up in front of POTC. We went over and the CM said no, you need to go in front of HM. We pushed through literally thousands of people, took us 15 mins to do this, and the CM in front of HM said no, you need to go in front of POTC. I said OH HELL NO, and told them we weren't doing that again. We then were escorted by a CM back through the crowds (Seriously drunk with power and it was amazing), she just saud excuse me coming through and people moved!!! We got back over to the entrance and were let in first. So sometimes it pays to be the ginuea pigs. Since F! will be closed our next trip, I want to either do this or WOC, I just need to hear more reviews on which is more worth it. Keep those reports coming!

Hoping for more updates too! I'm still on the fence about doing this for my April trip.

You basically get a good viewing spot, but still have to posture for a comfortable viewing spot. Personally, for me I don't blame DLR for this, rather the crowd of people being rude. I'm happy to assert my personal space as needed in these situations, politely but firmly.

It seems things have regressed since we did this back in our December trip when they did the BB PtN seating. Was fairly organized, we were right on the curb so we were able to sit and watch, and made for a quick transition to see the fireworks. I'm happy they made things right for your family though and got you into VIP seats the following day.

I just can't get past the inflated prices. We're AP holders and have done dining packages for WoC a few times when the show was new. But I guess after seeing all the shows before, I'd much rather just make reservations for dinner at BB, CC, WCT or AG and get my 15% discount, then hope we get a good spot for viewing the shows or go do something else instead. I can see how these packages are appealing for first time visitors. I have seen the special BB and AO viewing areas for PTN. The least they can do is have these guests in an area where there is some kind of seating instead of standing room only. It seems like it's not any better than just waiting for a good spot or getting lucky. I feel bad for all the first time visitors who have had bad experiences. From what I've read, the unorganized chaos makes me not want to do any of the dining packages again.

The BB really isn't that much of a markup when you consider it's a drink and dessert included. Of course that may depend on what you order. I typically get the Surf & Turf, and when you factor in drink & dessert, it winds up being about 10 and tip roughly extra for the preferred seating with that meal.

I think people who booked the package really didn't mind the mark up in the first place, however, we didn't want a bad experience as recently reported. I went for the Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package and Fantasmic Dining Package at THS, and loved both experiences. Best money to spent for a worry free premium seating. Precise information were giving about when and where to line up. From the reports here, it is not the case with the PTN BB Pkg.

Any update??

Absolutely!

Plus, we typically do BB for lunch to save a few dollars. So it's an even bigger bump in price for us to do dinner to get the parade seating.
