Just back last night. 4 Nights at AKV and 3 at VWL.
Citricos- 1st visit. FANTASTIC meal, great service, wonderful place. Steak for me and vegetarian entree for my wife.
Jiko - Great meal, so-so service, still a great place for dinner. Short rib for me and new vegetarian dish for my wife. Duck salad and tomato,cucumber salad as appetizers.
Big River Grille - Sat down for a beer & a wine, checked out the menu and ended up skipping Flying Fish to have dinner at the Bar here. 2 steaks for Jen and our son Chris and one Steak Oskar for me. Also shared Jalapeno Spinach dip. Had a very good dinner and would eat here again.
Raglan Road - Fish & chips for me, shepherds pie for Jen. Food was good but I feel terribly overpriced. 1 piece of fish plus chips for lunch $16.00!!! Lunch for 2 with 1 glass of wine and 1 beer came to $63
The place was nearly empty and the service was still quite slow and seemingly uninterested. Probably won't go again. Edited to add that we shared the Dalkey Duo as an appetizer.
Flame Tree BBQ - Good counter service lunch of ribs.
Our son made several trips to Mara and Roaring Forks and was content with the cheeseburger selections.
Off site; Cici's Pizza, Sbarro, Orlando Ale House, IHOP.
