This is worse than a video game! I woke up, drank some coffee. You know the regular morning routine. So here we are 40 minutes later and I am back to where I was a mere 7 hours ago, back on the bottle!

DH came home from work last night and saw what I was doing. It was the same thing I was doing the night before when he came home - DISing and watching for bottles. His response - "Oh, I see you had another productive day."

Actually, I am getting some work done. I'm setting up my classes on the computer this week so I can have the DIS and OG sites open. However, once school starts, I'll have to cut back. I may need a 12 step program to help me.

This is true plus there is enough of us that if they are going to throw out all that have DIS in them, even as replies....then they might end up having to throw out all messages.

I think we need to put a new secret marker so that our bottles aren't getting discarded. Maybe if we stop putting DIS and just put ºoº, Or put 3 asterisks ***, or make up some words to go with the initals DIS. Like "Does it Stop?" or something.

I've only used ºoº (for the most part) since yesterday evening.
I also suspect that many of our bottles have been tossed in the trash instead of the ocean.

I sent out a few telling people who we are and to come on over to this thread and say "Hi". Maybe if there isn't a mystery we won't be seen as "exclusive".

I've also used DISboardsºoº as a siggy on some.

Did you do it as a web address? If so then that will get filtered out but if you did it as a "here is where we are and look for this thread" -- should get to someone at least once.

Yep. When I started, I was using a web address. I figured out that the system was tossing them out. So I stopped using .com

Let him discard all the DIS bottles he wants. I actually think its funny imagining him sitting there reading through each and every line of the messages looking for the word DIS. If he wants to waste all that time doing that, then good for him. There are many more of us around. By the time he discards one of ours, we probably have thrown in 25 more.

Good luck Mr. Pantie-Issues with saving the world from us horrible typical-Dis'ers. It's a tough job but someone has to do it.

I can select all, but then I lose the ability to copy. I know I'm not a computer genius, but I have never had trouble copying and pasting!
