So, this is the DIS.

You people are really something.

As you can see, I'm a big fan of the oceangram program. It's fun to send out messages on the virtual ocean and wonder where they'll end up. I also hold out hope that one I've seen before will come back to me again.

And what do you people do?

Interrupt the ebb and flow with all of your DIS talk.

Hijack messages and make them all about you and the DIS, regardless of what the original topic was.

Rather than appreciate the beauty of a bottle floating in the ocean, holding a message that may wash ashore anywhere, you come back here, like pre-teeny girls and giggle and huddle together and basically undermine the whole point of oceangram.

What don't you get about it?

Please don't make it an extension of the DIS. That's not what it's meant for.

You have enough room here to act like little kiddies.

Someone needs to lighten up and then get a grip. Who says you get to dictate how people have fun, or who's allowed to have it?

I got my first DIS message! It asked "What is your favorite Disney World attraction?"

The next reply said they had not been to WDW, but would someday, and I answered Test Track.

I have been signing -a DISer in AL, has anyone seen one of mine?

I don't know what "oceangramlover" or whoever is so upset about, that is my first DIS message in about 20-25 bottles. And so what if there are alot of DIS bottles, it just makes the ocean better.

I received about 12 oceangrams today. Only ONE of them referred to the DIS. I sent out about 20 oceangrams myself, and only on one of those did I even reference the DIS. It was an oceangram asking what we were doing today: I said working, sending oceangrams, and DIS'ing.

Honestly, I don't know how one can "moderate" such a site as oceangrams and say what can or cannot be posted.

I received three oceangrams today that were obviously sent by religious fanatics. So, should I say that they are hijacking oceangrams trying to spread their message.

When you get a DIS post just discard it for goodness sake. Coming here to have a tantrum isn't going stop anything. This is a big world and you do not own it.
