I know that this is a lot. If it is too much, let me know and I will let you know which are the most important to us.

Your designs are so good that I have had such a hard time getting it to just this.

My computer crashed today so I don't know how long it will be before they get it fixed. I'll know more tomorrow when they call to let me know how bad it is

I know I'm going crazy, the bad thing I tried using my laptop now it's acting the same so I guess it's down to .. DD was afraid to let me use hers .

Are your computers on a network....or have you done things on both computers lately (email, shared files, etc)? When one computer crashes it's a crisis....when two crash it's a tragedy, but typically means that there is something other than a hardware problem. Perhaps you have a virus that you unknowingly transferred to the other computer.

I understand DD's reluctance......computer viri are so nasty and insidious...if you're on a network, I'd keep her computer (and any others you have) off the network until the cause is found in case it is a virus....and defintely don't be transfering emails or programs or anything from one computer to another until you figure out why yours crashed and the laptop is acting weird!

The motherboard is bad so I have to get a new computer, (I hope I can get all my stuff off the hard drive)

So I'm taking my laptop in I hope that one only has a virus. (DD dared me to put my Disney stuff on her laptop )

If anyone has any extra pixie dust please send it my way.

Hey, you can have the motherboard replaced. I had to have mine replaced on my laptop a long time ago. Its pretty costly but i would rather do that then start all over with my graphics/artwork.

Oh I am so sorry to hear that! I got a nasty virus 2 months ago and lost everything!! Including all my pics....and the baby is only 19 months! Pay the money even though it is expensive and salvage all your stuff!! I know how lost you feel. I was tearing my hair out not being able to get online at all! Sending LOTS of Pixie dust your way!

Had the same problem last year just before our trip to WDW, I know just what you are going thru, I am just keeping my fingers crossed that this one lasts at least another year until I can afford to update to a new one. Hope you can salvage some!!

I had started moving everything but unfortunately I only saved about half so keeping my fingers crossed.

He said it would be more cost effect to replace it, so waiting to get my laptop at least backup.

O Man Veronica I could not imagine going thru that my fingers are crossed that you will be able to recover your stuff it's to pretty to loose!
