Vero Pool Rehab

Somebody mentioned in an earlier thread that the Vero pool was scheduled to close for rehab in September. Since I have a reservation there Sept 26-30, I decided to contact MS and inquire about it. Mackenzie from MS EMailed me and indicated that the Vero pool would be "unavailable" September 10-28. I decided to call the resort and get the details. The manager on duty insisted that the pool was closed last September and that she knows nothing about a rehab this September or at any time in the future. She now wants to check. If anybody has any info, I'd love to hear it. Nobody at MS mentioned a pool closing when I made the reservation - since it's the only pool there, I feel they should.

Well - I can confim that the Vero pool was closed LAST September for a couple of weeks. There were notices on the DVC website and the Vacation Magic mailer that is sent out. I wouldn't think they would be closed 2 Setpembers in a row.

We will be in VB Sept 9th. MS informed me that the pool would be closed Sept 10th for resurfacing, but did not say when it would re-open.

I received a call today from Nicole, one of the managers at Vero. She said that the pool was not closing in September or any time in the near future. I then received an EMail from MS any they also confirmed that they were looking at last years rehab schedule. The final word is no pool closing in September.

This is good news since we have a beach cottage starting on Sept. 22. I don't use the pool but the people we are taking like it.
