Can anyone provide a comparison of an Inn room vs staying in a studio at Vero Beach? Was there anything you particularly liked or disliked about either accomodation? Thanks for any help.

We have stayed in both the Inn rooms and Studio rooms at VB.

The Inn rooms seem to be a little bit larger with 2 Queen size beds. The Inn rooms are located in the main building and are closer to the restuarants.

The studios are located in separate buildings along with the 1 bedroom & 2 bedroom villas. They also seem to be a bit smaller and have 1 queen size bed and a sleeper sofa. The sleeper sofa is not as comfortable as the queen bed. It is fine for a child.

I hope this is helpful.

Last year, we stayed in an Inn room and asked for ocean view. We were on the third floor and I really thought the view was incredible. The room was very nice and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there immensely. I can't compare with the studio, but just wanted to say how much we enjoyed the porch overlooking the ocean.

Hi! stayed at the Inn in Jan. it was great. Overlooked the ocean. The room
was bigger then the studio. Having 2 beds was great.

Giving this a bump so the poster knows that a response was made. Computer glitch was showing no responses.

In my opinion the Inn is far superior...I'd take a garden view inn before I'd ever settle for a studio. The studios are a bit smaller and very poorly laid out - it just seems cramped in there. The inn rooms are spacious and have all the same amenities of the studios - plus a better view.

I'd be leery of noise from the connecting 1br unit also - don't have to worry about that in the inn!

Gt an Inn room up high. The view is great. The location is primo.

P.S. - Oceanside

be warned - even though you book an ocean view Inn room, you may arrive to something different. The "ocean view" Inn rooms are truly great views and very comfortable; except for a few. The exceptions are certain "limited view" "end" rooms. Some are OK. Most of the end rooms though have little or NO ocean view. The rooms are generally smaller and many have smaller balconies. This can be very disappointing when you book an "ocean view." Especially if it turns out to be a partial parking lot or pool view. Be sure and ask for "Direct" ocean view; these are the rooms everyone is mentioning. The CM's at VB are well aware of this problem and were working on a way to stop misleading "Ocean View Inn" guests when we visited last Spring. To date though i do not believe any solution has been provided. Anyway, a great resort otherwise...just ask for direct!
