Vero from Disney

Just wondering if there are shuttles from disney to vero beach or do you have to rent a car? What airport do most fly into if going to vero?

We've gone to Vero via both Orlando and Sanford airports, always have rented a car. I don't think you'd want to be on Vero property for long without one. Unlike WDW, where you can get (almost) anywhere you need to go by the Disney transportation system, you are really on your own for getting around. There's also lots of things to see and do in the area that you wouldn't want to miss out on. We do love it there! A great place to decompress and destress before moving on to the parks!

I believe that you have to rent a car. You can fly into either Orlando or West Palm Beach, they are pretty close in distance to Vero Beach.

To my knowledge there is not a shuttle to Vero. We've been to Vero twice. We LOVED it. (But then again, we are beach people and are happy for a week on a decent beach with good weather!). But seriously, we loved the resort and the staff. Can't wait to go back. We've just been using our points lately to try new things.

Definitely rent a car. There are some decent and relatively inexpensive restaurants within several miles. But as a PP stated, Vero is NOT like WDW. It is a small resort with not much around it. You really do need a car.

We've always flown into MCO. However, Melbourne is closer if there is decent airfare. Coming from Chicago, MCO and a rental car always are cheaper.

The flight frequency and competition at MCO are likely to make it the best choice when going to Disney's Vero Beach Resort.

You must rent a cat if you are beach or pool person it is a wonderful place. We like to stay pre cruise. If you need to be doing something all the time it is not. We love the Inn Rooms. Booking next month.
