Vero experts ~~ Question

Okay~ for those of you who do Vero in May, how hard do y'all think it will be to get a ressie for a 2bdrm in May ? Not for 05', my brother is getting married in May 06' and wants us to join him and his new wife for the latter half of their honeymoon so I said I'd look into it. Is it terribly hard to get in at 7mos. for that time of year? And they do have lock off 2bdrms right?? Want them to have as much privacy as possible but still be together ~ still feel kind of funny about this since it's their honeymoon but they really want to visit with us the 2nd half so.......

I'd guess that if the dates are earlier in May...you have a great shot. The later it goes into May...last week before Memorial Day...it will get a little more tough.

If you book right at the 7 month window...you have a pretty good chance of getting what you want...plus 7 months on the waitlist just in case.

They have a date with the church of May 6,2006 as of now ~ That could possibly change if they cannot coordinate the church with the reception but looks like it will be around the 2nd week of May.

Also, FWIW, we booked a 1BR at Vero for Spring Break '05...and had no problem.

We were able to get a week in a one bedroom this year at 7 months.

We usually go the first week of May and have not had a problem reserving a 1 bedroom at the 7 month mark. I did call at 5 months to add a day and had to waitlist, but it did come through. I'd say call as soon as the 7 month window opens and you should be okay. Good Luck

Anything but Memorial weekend and then that usually gets booked kinda late. Any other part of the month is usually light.
