It is still boarded up Lenc. It doesn't look like there's been any movement to reopen it either. Just stop by Baltimore on your way down to eat some "real" steamed crabs!!

Thanks for asking... we'll be there in a week, and were "hopeful" that they were able to rebuild... Darn. We just discovered them on our trip last year... even though we've been visiting for years...

Maybe they re-located?

Man you are jonesing for this place as bad as I am! I keep checking all the Vero threads to see if there's been any news and you're on all of them asking the same question that's on my mind. I was planning on doing Ozzie's twice during our trip in October, I was crushed to learn of the closure. I've been waiting all year for those 20 cent clams on Tuesday nights. I could eat a mound of those things just swimming in butter, I'm salivating just thinking about it!

Oh Ozzie, come back to us!!!!!!

I am really disappointed there is no movement on rebuilding. Guess the insurance settlement wasn't so hot. I do hope they reopen though.

I guess this is old news... but I just saw that the "Patio Restaurant" closed in May, after 40 years of business.

That was another tradition of our's... sorry to see it's gone.

I just called the "Ocean Grill" to try and make reservations for this coming Saturday night... shamefully, we've never been there, before.

They said they wouldn't take reservations for a party of two. ...Anyone know how long we can expect to wait?
