Vero Beach

We have an Ocean View Inn room reserved at Vero Beach Feb 24-Feb 28. I have a couple questions:

1) Does anyone know how far it is away from Dodgertown?

2) Are there laundry facilities there -- and are they typically hard to find an open washer/dryer?

3) I've read here and there that there are some ocean view rooms that aren't so good. Does anyone have any suggestions in terms of "requests" that I might list on my ressie - I know they are just requests but if there is something I should say that might help us to get a better room location - thought it was worth asking.

We are going to be spending most of the time at Dodgertown but are there any "must dos" that we should be aware of during our stay?

Don't know how far it is to Dodgertown... I'm an Orioles fan.

There are laundry facilities on the fourth floor. I have never had to wait for a machine, and they are free.

You can get an OVIR room that actually faces south or north, and then you see the ocean indirectly to one side or the other. You want an ocean FACING room

I would suggest to everyone to see the McKee Botanical Gardens.
