Vero Beach-We made it through Jeanne. MS just called.

Yes, my DH's employer has been wonderful. They are still serving meals every night, they also gave him a generator and gasoline and they brought a washer and dryer in to the office so people can do their laundry if they don't have power. I'm really still in shock about everything they have done.

That's rare indeed! Now if only companies operating on a cut throat mentality would learn!!!
 
Just returned from our drive.

The resort looks a little worse off this time.

We could clearly see it from the top of he 510 bridge as we drove over.

The roof looks good, all of the beach houses are still standing.

There are many semi trailers outside of the resort and the villas.

Again, there are big tubes hanging down from the 4th floor-we were told last time that these were like big hair dryers used to dry out wet areas.

There was a cement truck parked by the pool area that looked like it was getting ready to pour cement.

There were many people working all around the resort.

I'm sure it really suffered this time but I'm sure they'll have it back to new soon.
