Vero Beach Trip Question

OK well my Vero trip is coming upon us. We are arriving Sat. I was waitlisted for an OVIR but alas I still have a OV studio. Is there anyway they would be able to put us in an OVIR when we get there. This trip turned into a trip for my girlfriends and me and I'm worried about the sofabed. Next question how uncomfortable is the sofabed? Would you take the sofabed or the bed for yourself. Thanks

I do not think there is a category of ocean view studio. I would take a garden view inn room over a studio if someone had to use the sofa bed.

Now that there is no official waitlist, you're too close to arrival, I would call every day to see if an inn room is available.

Pixie Dust....have a great time at VB! We love that resort, no matter the accomodations.

Silly question do I call the resort direct or DVC number? If resort where do I find this number? Thanks

If you want to change from a studio to an Inn Room (ocean and/or garden) you'll need to call MS to change reservation. I think the GV Inn is fewer points.

Pam's right about the points, GVIR are fewer points, but if you want that second bed, that may be the best choice.

You call MS for the reservation change, waitlist query, but the phone number for the resort is on the reservation.

You are within the 31 day cancellation window so if the room you prefer becomes available be sure you clarify the status of the points for your current reservation. They may go into holding.
