Vero Beach to Wdw

I am new to Vero Beach and am looking for easy route to WDW. Not 95 and anything like it. Nice easy ride

"Easy" as in no traffic? No stop lights? Quick?

At any rate, consider driving north on Rte 1 to the Melbourne area and then take 192 over to WDW. I'd allow 2.5 - 3 hours plus stops if you go that way.

Easy like no 95. How is 60 to 441? Not looking for quickest just less traffic

I've never driven that route, sorry.

I'm also not clear on why you want to avoid I-95. Its really not a difficult road on that stretch. Is it just that you want to avoid limited access highways?

I just hate 95.

Honestly, if you drive it in the middle of the day, that stretch of 95 IS easy. I, too, hate 95 because I deal with it in the ridiculously over-congested northeast. 95 from the Beachline down to Vero is EASY. We did that trip a few years ago and I was dreading 95. We drove it in the middle of the day (after check-out at WDW, and then after check-out at Vero) and it was a breeze.

I drive 95 up here in NE....I hate 95 in the Palm Beach and south area!!! But.....it's not too bad between VB and Melbourne. But, if you really don't want to use 95, then 1 to 192 isn't bad. I've done 60-441-192...it was grueling. Or, you could stay on to the Fl Turnpike. Almost as bad as 441-192.
95 to 192 is best, followed by 60 to the Fl Turnpike.

1 to 192 looked the best to me. What do you mean by grueling, traffic or just too long?

Not traffic...just boring and mind-numbing!!! Truly, once you get north of the Palm Beach area, 95 isn't bad at all.

And if I remember correctly, there is a heck of a lot of traffic lights along 1. I think we hit every single one on red when used this route a couple of years back!
