Vero Beach tips (1st timer)? Getting from MCO?

Gonna start our trip off at Vero Beach this year (October 11th). Any tips or ideas for Vero? What are y'all thoughts on getting to Vero Beach from MCO, and then from Vero to WDW? Would appreciate any input. Thanks!!!

It’s almost a two hour drive from MCO to Vero. Are you planning to rent a car? If not, there are ways to do it without one. I prefer to fly in to Melbourne Airport, and then depart from MCO after Disney World. There is a shuttle company from Melbourne Airport that will take you to Vero Beach with a reservation. If you fly in to MCO you can also get a shuttle from the same company to Melbourne Airport, then take their different shuttle to Vero Beach. I’ve done it more than once before and I connect with DME at MCO easily because the Shuttle from Melboure airport Parks right next to the DME buses. There is no shuttle direct from Vero to Disney World. You have to connect through the airports.

I'd suggest renting a car. Its an easy drive from MCO to Vero Beach and also from there to WDW. Given the distances, I doubt that using uber/lyft would save you anything and you'd be stuck at Vero without the ability to easy check out the area.

I agree about a car. There are lots of wonderful restaurants in the area.
