Hi,

This is somewhere DH and I have always thought about going but never got round to it.

Does anyone know - can you scuba there?

Also I welcome any opinions /advice.

Ive heard its not a place to go without a car. Being from the UK we dont drive in the states and are thinking about getting a towncar to take us there from WDW.

Also anyone had experience of it being available at the 7 month window, early Aug.

Thank you for your help

IF you have not, I strongly recommend you go here:

for a wealth of VB information - particularly post #1 in the thread and read thur the FAQ's and scanned resort documents.

I can't personally address the scuba issue, but I do completely agree on needing a car. The towncar to get to VB is fine, and so long as you just want to stay at the resort your plan should work - but there's a lot of nice things to do/see in the area and while taxis are available it might get expensive if you do much.
Depending on the room style you're looking for, 7 month for August I would expect you'd get without much difficultly.

Was at VB last year for the first time. You do need a car. Lots to do in town. There are some great places to eat! Have a great time:thumbsup2
