My DW and I will be heading to Vero Beach Resort this weekend for our anniversary. We have been trying to find out if anyone has seen any menus from the restaurants there posted anywhere? We haven't been able to find any.

heading down to Vero on Sunday for 3 days never stayed before but was wondering the same things about menus. When we stopped by last March looked around in the town and there were also plenty of nice looking places there too. Carol

Just a little secret about the restaurants at VB. If you don't want to sit and eat with the crowds, you can order carry-out! This is how DW and I do it now. We (I) walk down to the restaurant and place an order TO GO! and they take it! Then we have a real good meal made by chefs, and we enjoy it in our own room. You will find too that the meals are more than one can normally eat, so now we order 1 meal and 2 salads. We save on the meal, save on the tip, and enjoy our meal in our own room, by ourselves. I at first felt guilty about the tip thing, but while I wait for our order, I can see that there is no empty tables in the restaurant and I know the people serving the tables have their night made. Win - Win.

I did learn last week that you can not carry out food from the Green Cabin Room. Our daughter wanted a pizza from the Green Cabin to eat in the room while her brothers were at the Discovery Club and when I went to get it they said they could not do food for carry-out. WE had to order it from room service and pay the fees associated with that. No big deal, but worth noting.

That's odd.... I remember a few years ago, DS2 got sick out on the balcony of the GCR.. The CM's were awesome with everything, and if I remember right, packed up his lunch in a take out container...

Maybe carry-out is out of the question (except Pizza when they offer it), but if you order and need a doggie bag, that can be done...
