Vero Beach room question

We are thinking about visiting Vero Beach this spring and we were wondering what the difference is between a deluxe inn ocean view room and a studio room? Also are there many places to eat right at the resort? One last question, is the beach at Vero Beach nice for walking (can you walk for a while down the beach)

The deluxe Inn room you have a better chance of having a direct ocean view, especially if you request top floor. Both places you can park underneath for convenience. The studio will have 1 bed and a pull out couch.

There are 2 onsite restraunts at VB(Shutters+Sonyas), plus the snack bar at the pool.

If you get a chance try to have something to eat at the Green Cabin room...mom & I were at Vero just a week ago and we had a wonderful 4 cheese flat bread pizza and some buffalo wings a glass of wine and a seat outside by the railing looking and listening to the ocean. It was beautiful!!

We loved it so much we grabbed lunch the next day there before we headed to BCV...we had our wonderful seat looking out at the water. It was hard to leave but Mickey was waiting.

I have a distant cousin who lives nearby VB; she said that they and other locals often go to the restaurants on site. We've always enjoyed them, too.

We have three days and two nights booked in May before we head to WDW for Member Homecoming. Thanks for the links and the pictures. I can't wait to show them to our DDs that will be with us. I love the ocean and I think this spot will be one of our favorites even though we are new owners at SSR.

Thanks for the new links. This will be our first visit to a DVC Resort and I just know it will be great. Couldn't believe DH said yes last November to our Guide after we took the tour. We have thought about this for a long time. The VB Resort is one reason we decided to become members. DH know who much I love the ocean. Plan on trying out HH even though it isn't on the ocean like VB. We have an Inn room with the Ocean View. I am looking forward to sitting outside and listening to the ocean. Thanks for the restaurant links also. Always need to know where to get our nourishment when we are on vacation. Has anyone ever seen the turtles on the beach? DD will just love that part.

In October we had an ocean view inn room and it was wonderful. We were right in the middle on the top floor and had an incredible ocean view. A couple of years ago we had a top floor one bdr and also had a great view. The studios are away from the main building attached to the 1 bdrs. You will be taking a chance on the view. Unless you are on the top floor you will have an obstructed ocean view so I would highly recommend the ocean view inn room. One night we left the patio door open to listed to the waves rolling in and then got up right before the sun came up and went out and watched it. We loved it. Can't wait to go back.
