Any reviews on this resort? Do they ever offer an AP discount there?

As far as an AP discount, I've never seen that offered. I do know in the back of the Birnbaums WDW guide there usually is a coupon for 25% off. Another option would be to rent points from a DVC'er. That would save you alot of money.

We will be heading to Vero in June and can't wait. We have been there before and the resort is beautiful. It is such a relaxing place, right on the ocean. They have the main building with "Inn" rooms, both ocean and garden views. Then they have studios, 1, 2 bedroom units and 3 bedroom grand villas. Do a search on the DVC board on this site and a ton of info on Vero will com up. This site has some pics:

Wasn't this resort closed for quite some time following last fall's hurricanes??

The resort was closed after the Hurricane's last fall but opened up in early November I believe. We spent the night there in mid-December and loved it! We definately plan on going back.

We are DVC members making our 6th trip to Vero on Sunday. The resort is very nice, great pool, beach and lots of things to do. We love it because it is laid back and most things are contained in a small area. DS 9, and DD 12 go around the grounds and I don't have to watch them every minute.
