Vero Beach questions

We are hoping to try VB for the first time in the spring I have a couple questions if you have stayed there before.

1. Are the chefs there as wonderful with food allergies as they are at WDW?

2. We will likely be low on points and just do the Garden View. What exactly will we be looking at with this view?

1. I had multiple great experiences/meals at shutters - both breakfast and dinner. I have celiac. The chef came out to speak with me each time.

2. Our garden view rooms overlooked trees, some other rooms, and a bit of the ocean. The balconies were very big and we enjoyed the space. I never use points on the view, and so far I've never had a bad view at any resort.


Oh - the bar - I forget the name - WRETCHED for celiac and I was told even the regular food was crap. Maybe you'll have better luck, but I wouldn't waste your time or money.

The Green Cabin is name of bar. Can't speak to celiac but there is a decent small menu and live music some nights. Pkus a balcony with ocean views. And the staff is great. I would highly recommend for a drink.

I had to book a garden view at VB for my next trip, because ocean views were gone. I am disappointed, because the only other time I booked a garden view, basically it was the parking lot. Still, I want to be there before a cruise.

The parking lot does not sound good. At least you will enjoy plenty of ocean views on your cruise

Ask for an upper floor and you will get a better view of trees leading toward the river. Great sunset views too. The parking lot will be below you.
