Vero Beach - Post Matthew

Hi all, Can anyone confirm what state the beach at the Vero resort is in after Matthew dropped by? Our friends who were up the coast at Melbourne found the beach they previously strolled onto had now a 2½ foot drop to get to!

Actually I just read the following in a newsletter about Disney: "Work continues on extensive refurbishments throughout Disney's Vero Beach Resort, which survived Hurricane Matthew relatively unscathed." So if true, it sounds like Matthew did not affect Vero too much.
