Vero Beach points change

I own at VB and read something from Disney about adjusting a few of the rooms point values due to blocked views. When I compared my 2014 VB points chart to my 2015 chart I noticed several increases in points required for the 3BR villas. I didn't think they could adjust points that way. Am I missing something?

They can adjust points, the only requirement is that the total points for the year across the resort stay the same. If they reclassified some rooms to GV, they'd have to account for those points elsewhere. Looks like they did so by raising GV Inn rooms slightly and throwing the rest into the 3 BR for certain seasons, perfectly appropriate as the rules are written.

If I understood your answer correctly, total point values cannot increase. If they adjust some points up, others have to go down, correct? I only saw point values increase.I didn't notice any decreases.

The other thing that can change is the number of rooms in a given view category. If some rooms are "demoted" in terms of view, then it is possible that per-room points only go up or stay the same to preserve resort-wide point totals.

That is correct. As Brian points out, IF they reclassify some rooms to a lower category, the total points may stay the same but all you'll see is increases on the grid. This is c/w the points tables.
