Vero Beach or WDW after 4 night cruise?

Hi everyone
I am so excited I just booked a 4 night cruiseon the Dream for next May. It will just be DH and myself. I am trying to decide if we should spend 2 nights after the cruise at WDW or Vero. We are staying 3 nights at AKV before the cruise so that is why I was thinking Vero. Is 2 nights worth it at Vero? I thought that Vero would be a nice way to relax after the cruise but it is only 2 days there. What does everyone think???

I am all for trying something once/new. Since you are staying at WDW before the cruise, this might be the perfect time to get a taste of Vero. We stayed here three nights last year and enjoyed it very much. Will definitely be back.

If you only have 2 days and want to relax, seems like adding the longer drive eats up a lot of time. We just stay poolside and skip the parks for a couple days after the cruise to "adjust" to the real world again!

Thanks everyone !!! I called MS this morning at booked BWV Boardwalk view for the 2 nights. I can't book VB yet and have to wait the 7 months but at least I have BWV. As much as I want to go to VB I think that 2 nights might be too short of a stay and then have to drive 2 hours for our flight. I would love to hear more opinions.

like some of the other suggestions, I would give Vero Beach a try and not go back to WDW a second time on the same vacation.

Our most wonderful weather at VB came one May. However, May is when the F&G is at Epcot, and staying at BWV would be perfect for enjoying those sights and activities. I would be torn, but I think I would go to VB, just because I would have been to WDW and had an opportunity to do the F&G activities that I was interested in before the cruise.
