Going back end of October for my wife's birthday. Do they do anything for Halloween?
In the airport on my way down! See you tonight, Vero Beach!
I have stayed in the cottages numerous times in the past.Hi! If you own Vero Beach points directly, can you please tell me what the advantages are for owing directly? Has anyone booked a 3-bedroom at Vero Beach? We currently own OKW and would like to go to Vero more. Thanks!!!
They did when we stayed there in 2017. They even made a haunted walk through in one of the beach villas. Otherwise it was pumpkin carving, trick or treating and such. Quite a few nice activities.Going back end of October for my wife's birthday. Do they do anything for Halloween?
Yes, they changed the bed arrangement in the Inn rooms during the most recent refurbishment. Works okay for the two of us, but less convenient for families with youngsters. At least they kept the real table and chairs in the inn room, rather than going the way of a number of the WDW DVCs (looking at you, BWV).It has been several years since we stayed at Vero Beach and I can not remember what type of coffee maker is in the Inn studio rooms (and what type of coffee filters I need to bring). Also, I was looking at the information on the DVC web site and it says the inn studio rooms have "1 queen bed, 1 queen-size pull down bed". I thought the inn studio rooms used to have 2 queen beds, did they change that out?
Thanks for the info. as I didn't realize the bed configuration would be easy to change-(I thought maybe they just used cut and paste one too many times in the descriptionYes, they changed the bed arrangement in the Inn rooms during the most recent refurbishment. It's been a year but last time it was a Keurig. We asked for a regular drip, because we bring our own. The Murphy beds referred to are Queen size, so any legal requirement for 2 Queen beds in a given room would still be met.I wonder how they were able to change them to the Murphy bed pull-downs... I had thought the types of beds in the units was deeded. Makes me wonder if they could change the VGF rooms to a King and Murphy or Queen and Murphy down the road if they wanted to. (I would be in favor of that change for at least some units).
Maybe @drusba or @Sandisw would know more of the details?
I suppose, but I would argue there is a big difference between a real bed and a pull down bed in the same way there'd be a difference between a real bed and a pull-down mattress. The Murphy beds referred to are Queen size, so any legal requirement for 2 Queen beds in a given room would still be met.
I suppose this could be asked for the second queen in certain rooms as well.Do they launder the Murphy bed sheets between every guest? or only when it is clear the bed has been used?
The mattress on the Murphy bed is a regular mattress - the Murphy is essentially a platform bed that folds as a single unit into the wall. Many guests report they’re as comfortable or sometimes more comfortable than the regular bed. They’re not at all like the old sofa beds they replaced, which is the reason many are disappointed when structural features prevent Murphy beds from being installed in place of sofa beds, such as at OKW (window placement) or the top floor of BRV (angled ceiling).I suppose, but I would argue there is a big difference between a real bed and a pull down bed in the same way there'd be a difference between a real bed and a pull-down mattress.
