Vero Beach in mid-June?

I have until COB Wed to cancel an RCI reservation at Disney Vero Beach for mid-June 2012. My apologies for being lazy (not searching) but time is short. Would any of you Vero or coastal Florida experts care to offer any words of encouragement on mid-June weather and vacation conditions? The goal would be to enjoy a beach chair parked in the water, some swimming, some exploring and plenty of just kicking back.

Our last visit to Vero was late Aug 2004 and conditions were perfect except for Hurricane Frances which sent us packing. The water was warm, the days delightful and we found plenty to keep us occupied along the coast.

Went this past year in mid June and loved it! The weather is hot and you can expect afternoon brief thunderstorms but the ocean was warm and the pool was great. I went not being sure whether I would like Vero and we had the best, most relaxing vacation ever! We will definitely go back!

2012 will be the second mid-June VB trip we've taken. Last year was so much fun, the family is doing it again, but in a BC this time!
Our other good times have been Memorial weekend, and end of June. We got hit by a hurricane, Katrina, in 2005, late August. Katrina was south of VB, it was hitting Miami but we had rain and winds.

We haven't talked in quite a while... Mid June is perfect. Before the storms really get going and hot enough to know you're in Florida. My only other favorite month is November.

June and November.... the best months to visit VB.

Yeah!! I miss VB, it's been two years since we've gone! The DH is asking to go back!! Which type of room did you get? We always get the OVIR's

Since I booked it through RCI, I have very little beyond "1BR." No "view/category" info is specified.

This was my very last RCI deposit from "The Seapointer" in South Africa. The resort ownership voted to convert from timeshare to standard apartments and I had to "give back" my ownership earlier this year. We've had some really great trades against it over the years and it will be missed. Sigh. I really thought I might even visit the resort someday ... but sadly this never happened. Sigh (again).
