Vero Beach in May

I was just wondering how busy VB is in May. I wanted to book a two bedroom but my home resort is Saratoga. I was just wondering if it would be booked at the seven month window or if I should try to rent points from someone who has it as a their home resort. Thanks.

Don't wait beyond the 7 months and I think you'll be OK. At 7 months if you have to waitlist, it most likely will come through...I hope so.

We were there Mother's day weekend in an Ocean View Inn Room. It was fabulous. I had called about 2 months out trying to switch to a 1 bedroom with no luck.

As the previous poster said, book right at 7 months and you should be okay. We also own at SSR. I have never had a great desire to add on points, but after staying a long weekend at VB I know where my next add on will be.

My guess is that May before Memorial day won't be a problem at 7 months.

DH and I were there a few weeks ago from 5/13 thru 5/16.......I booked in mid December, 2007 for those dates......so about five months out and had no problem getting ressies for a OVIR.

We were at VB for 4 days just before Memorial Day. It was pretty empty. So empty that there were maybe 15 people on the beach. Not bad if you want a quiet trip. It was my favorite DVC resort and quite different from the parks experience.
