Vero Beach in July or October?

DH and I are considering going to Vero Beach at the end of July or middle of October for a long weekend.

Do you think it’s better going in October or July?

Does anyone recommend the character breakfast at Shutters?

July is too hot for me. remember this place is further south than WDW - so it can be hotter.

Oct is a great time to go - but then you miss the food/wine at Epcot

I agree with Pat. July can be tough. October on the other hand is much better. Later October is better to avoid tropical storms.

With the ocean breezes, the beach always seems less hot to me than Orlando in July. However, October is a nice time too. Good luck!

Unless you already have reservations, I would aim for October. Vero Beach is mostly booked through August.

I agree with everyone else. I actually prefer to go to VB in October over any other time of year. I'll be at there on Saturday. Not my favorite time of year for Florida but it works best for my DS' college schedule.
