Vero beach in february?

Looking to take a trip to break up winter. What is the weather like in Vero in February? Is the pool heated? What is there to do around the resort? Is its best to fly into Orlando and rent a car?

Yes, the pool is heated.
Flying into MCO and renting a car works best for most folks.
Lots of activities for the kids. It is a great place to kick back and relax.

I live in FL - 45 minutes away from WDW and February is generally not pool/beach weather for swimming. Just thought you'd like to know...

but the OP is from PA...and would very likely find the pool, and possibly the ocean quite nice temp wise!.

Before DH retired from teaching HS, we did a stay at Vero during February vacation. The ocean was too cold, the beach was fine, and the pool was great! (note we're from CT). We ate out (really liked Squid Lips), visited gardens, and sunken treasure and had a great time. Ooh! Almost forgot -- excellent wine tasting with Mary Anne -- we were the only ones present!
