I just recieved a call from my Aunt. My best friend and cousin... Left Thursday for a wedding in West Palm. That evening she became ill and was rushed in to surgery, She had her appendix out and kidney stones. She can not fly for a week so will miss thanksgiving. They are going to try to move today to Vero. (they are members) Who do I contact to send her somthing to the resort. The disney florist? a local place? 1-800-flowers? Any suggestions? And does anyone know the addresss I would use to faciltate this? Thanks in advance.

You can call the resort at 772-234-2000 and ask for in-room dining. They can do a lot of special things.

For flowers you can use ftd.com and they can go through a local florist or ask whoever you speak with at the resort for suggestions.

The address I have for the resort is
9252 Island Grove Terrace
Vero Beach, FL 32963

If you are going to send something to someone staying at the resort you should put their name, the word "guest" and their check in date and then Disney's Vero Beach Resort and the address.

Hope all is well.:D

No problem.

I also wanted to say that I have used 1-800-flowers several times and have not had a complaint.

In this case, I might use something local to avoid any confusion as to where the address is. Sometimes 1-800-flowers goofs on business addresses for some reason.

Don't use FTD or 1-800-FLOWERS. Call the resort and ask for suggestions for a good florist in the area and then call the florist yourself. Ask what types of flowers they have that day, what they would suggest that would be nice, etc. so you will get an idea of what they can do for you. You will save money and probably get a better product. The flower services tack on so many extra charges and they have no idea about the quality of the flowershops they are using.
