How difficult is it to reserve a beach cottage at Vero beach in August?

Typically, these are very difficult to reserve as there are only 6 of the Beach Cottages. Often they are reserved at the 11 month window by VB owners.

Is a trade with a vero owner something that is plausible, or should we just book one and two bedrooms? Thanks for the info.

I would book the alternative, but waitlist. I've been at VB and met people who didn't own there and yet, were able to get a BC. Of course, your idea of trading has merit, it's just not something I would deal with.
