DH and I am booked on the June 7th sailing on Disney Dream - YIPPEE !!!!! We have never been to VB and I thought that we should try it before the cruise. How is the weather the begining of June? Also, should we stay 3 or 4 nights in VB? Trying to decide if I want 1 night in Diisney and 3 in VB or just do 4 nights in Vero before the cruise. Thanks for all your help. :cool1::cool1:

We were there one long Memorial weekend and then once at the end of June and they were our two best VB vacations ever. I admit that I feel bad if have a trip to Florida and don't go to WDW. So, I would do both places, but really, it's just a personal flaw...VB is wonderful. We've done a day trip to WDW from VB, just don't make it a late night. It's nearly 2 hours away.

Would 3 nights be enough for a first visit or should we go for 4 nights ? It will just be DH and myself (no kids). I know that there is not much to do at night but I love the thought of just sitting on the beach with a good book. Thanks !!!!

All of our visits to VB have been either 3 or 4 nights. I do not think 1 night particularly matters either way. If you want to go to WDW first...by all means do that!

We've gone to VB most often as just the two of us or with adult family/friends. We've done things at the resort, there were speakers about turtles, nature walks on the beach, or we've gone off the site as well. We bike around the Historic Jungle Trail, we went to the Treasure Coast museum that's just a bit north on A1A. We've gone to an Oceanographic institute...we too just hang around at night, maybe get a movie, we certainly find enough to do around the resort or in our area to fill 4 days!

We had never been to Biscayne NP and there is a vendor there that takes you snorkleling. THAT was a long ride for a day trip, but it was something I've always wanted to do (visit Biscayne NP, I collect NP stamp cancellations:goodvibes), and one year we did that.

All I can say is that my wife and I started (first visit) with 4 nights. More recently we stay 8-16 nights because we love it so much. :)
