Good morning, everyone.
We are looking at getting a 1BD in Vero Beach from 9/23/10 - 9/26/10 (Thur.-Sun), but we won't know if our vacation request will be approved by one of our employers until 8/16. Our only concern is that if they delay in telling us, and we end up under 31 days, we might end up having points in holding status.
So with that said, we're thinking of waiting until after we find out to make the reservation. What we don't know, however, is how busy Vero is in late September. It is the lowest season according to the points charts, but we don't know if it really is a slow season, or if it's a situation like WDW in early December - low in points because of a low non-DVC attendance, but busy with DVC because of the low points.
Can anyone share some words of wisdom as to whether we should take the chance on waiting to reserve or if we should book now and take the chance of having to cancel late?
Thanks!
Ryan
