Vero Beach at Christmas time

Can someone tell me how Vero Beach is at Christmas time? I´m mostly thinking weather wise? Would we be able to enjoy the beach (even if it was just once or twice)?

We were in Florida from about the 5th - 14th. The 1st day we were at Vero and it was great. Mid 70's. Rest of week in Orlando was very cool. Mittens and hat weather at night and it was unusual people said. We are from Minnesota and used to snow and cold and were freezing not dressed right.

From everything I know - expect mid-low 70's as normal and upper 50's at night.

We will be in Orlando this year the 17th - 23rd and hoping for warmer weather for sure!

We were in Florida until December 10th last year too and many days were quite cool. Most of the locals said it was unusually cold so therefor I was wondering what to expect "normally". Glad you enjoyed Vero Beach.

The reason I´m asking about Vero Beach is actually because I just got an offer for a home exchange there this Christmas
Too bad that flight prices are so outrageous at Christmas time that I don´t think we can do it, with this short notice.

Central Florida is always hit or miss during the Winter. It could be in the low 80's one day and not get about 50 the next. The past few Christmases have been warm and rainy, if my memory serves me correctly. Of course, that means nothing about the future.
