Vero Beach and Memorial Day weekend

Good evening. Hubby and I just returned from yet another wonderful WDW trip. While waiting at the airport we chatted with a nice couple who were returning from Vero Beach (not DVC) and raving about the great time they had. Light bulb moment. Next May...six nights at BCV and then move to Vero for Memorial Day weekend. What are the chances for an Inn room Friday through Monday during the Memorial Day holiday weekend at the seven month mark?

That is a busy time, but last time I was there in the summer I paid cash as I was a non-DVC owner. I would like to revisit via points next time. Good luck.

One of our nicest times at VB weather wise was Memorial Day weekend 2005. We booked 3 OV Inn rooms at 11 months, but had to cancel one of them at 5 months. When my DM changed her mind again and wanted to come, it was closer to Memorial Day, we couldn't get her any room, for points or cash. So, it does get crowded then.
