Next Oct we will celebrate the 10th aniversay. Husband want's to go on Oasis. We were married on Royal Carribbean thinking after the cruise to go to Vero beach? Good bad.

My DH and I are booked on the Dream for next June and I was thinking of going to Vero Beach for 2 nights after the cruise. I am glad that you asked this question !!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I don't know about June, but we've gone in October and enjoyed ourselves. The ocean is probably too cold to swim in, but when we went, we walked along the beach a lot. It was pretty warm. The pool was decorated for Halloween.

October can be the luck of the draw. We followed up a WDW trip with a couple nights at VB last October (23rd - 25th), and it was great. The air temps were increasing all along that week to where it was in the 80s by the time we got to VB (so great park weather transitioned into great beach weather for us). We just missed the turtle nesting, but we spent a LOT of time in the ocean. The temp was a little cool at first (I think it was marked in the upper 70s on the board??), but once in the water was fine - and I'm a sissy in cold water.

Compare that to Nov08 and we caught the cold front. We still got in the ocean (DD8 was going in regardless), but it was chilly.

We have just booked an October cruise to celebrate my mom's birthday with her and made a Vero ressie for the day after! Sounds like a good plan to me! :thumbsup2

We did a 4 nights cruise on Wonder and spent 3 days at the Vero Beach resort and it was nice. Cruise was great fun for all and going to Vero gave us time to unwind and just hangout before coming home.

Vero is a nice to place to go walk along the beach and just hanging out. Plenty of small and unique restaurants, art galleries, et al. within 15~20 minute drive from the resort.

GOOD. We have had good fortune (weather & ocean temps) in the months of October & November. Perhaps our most preferred months. We're going to test the waters in late December this year. Still, we know whatever the outcome temps & weather wise, we will enjoy ourselves.
