we will be doing the 7 day disney cruise and are trying to decide if we want to tag on 4 days beforehand. we are bouncing around the idea of wdw, universal or vero beach. i can only find very limited info. on vero beach and the kid's activities it offers.

what kind of activities are available to the kids/any charge for them?
do they offer any type of kids club (so i can get a bit of private time)/if so, are the hours limited/any charge?

can hubby get in some good scuba (if so any suggestions on company to go through)?

would you suggest going in to Melbourne or Orlando airport (and what is the approximate drive time to vero from your choice)?

what kind of things are there to do in close proximity to vero resort.

thanks for any info. you can provide-i'm leaning towards vero so i wont waste my cruise time recovering from theme park lag. :smooth: :cloud9:

Vero is a very nice resort with many things to keep the kids busy. It would help if I new the ages but I assume they are young.

The pool and slide will keep them busy for hours and there is a small putt putt golf course next to the pool. They have crafts for the kids(small cost), water balloon toss, outdoor & indoor games, bicycle rental, beach activities, scavenger hunts, snorkeling in the pool (cost because you buy the mask), and a intro scuba class in the pool for 12 and up (fee).

They also had a "kids night out" where they took the kids for 3 hours (feed & entertain) while you and DH can go out.

There are half a dozen good rest. around Vero but they are a medium/short drive from the resort.

You will have fun.
