Vero at Thanksgiving or Christmas

My family and I are thinking about spending Thanksgiving or Christmas this year or next at Vero Beach, but we're concerned about it possibly being too cold. Has anyone stayed at the resort at that time, and if so, would you mind commenting as to whether the weather is doable?

We stayed at Vero Beach for Thanksgiving about 4 yrs ago, then went on to SSR. The weather was wonderful and was warm enough to go swimming. The people working at Disney said sometimes it is warm enough at that time and sometimes not. We were at SSR a year ago October and it was freezing! It's a time of year where you just can't predict, I think.

We did Vero for 2 Christmas's and the weather was beautiful about 80 degrees each day. Last Christmas we went to WDW and the temps didn't get out of the 60's so you really never know.

We stayed at VB last Thanksgiving. The weather was in the 70s and 80s every day but one, when it was in the mid 60s and breezy. Goofy Santa arrived on Thanksgiving morning and we had our pics taken w/ him.
