Vero after cruise

Has anyone stayed at Vero after the 7 day cruise. I just booked 1/22/05 and it seems a shame to come home right away. Would it be a let down to go to the beach, or relaxing?

Last summer we took the 7 day Western cruise. Getting off the ship at the end of the cruise was such a bummer. We decided then that our next cruise would end with at least two days at VB. Now, we just have to plan that next cruise. You can get off the ship and be at VB in about 45 minutes since there would be little traffic on a Saturday morning.

It's a great way to get some more beach time after your cruise.
We've done Vero twice after cruising and love it. It's total relaxation. Once we spent an additional 3 days, the next time we spent 6, followed by 7 at WDW.

We took a 7 day cruise in 2001 (Carnival, not Disney ) and went to VB for 3 nights after. My husband loved Vero so much he wished we had done a shorter cruise and spent more time at Vero. We've been back there twice since and may possibly stay a few nights there after our 4 night Magic cruise next year. It was wonderful.

That's what we are doing- hopefully 4 nights at Disney, 4 night cruise and 4 nights at VB!! Next April if all goes as planned
