Vero - 5 nights in Dec - will we be bored?

Hi,

We've decided to extend our Florida vacation to 2-weeks and thought we'd start off with a few days in Vero beach .. will 5 nights (4 full days) be too much to spend in the Vero beach area in the month of December?

Any suggestions for things to do in the area if the weather is too cool for beach/pool?

We stayed last Dec. for 4 nights, 6 kids and 5 adults. We had a great time, the kids even went in the ocean, it was a little chilly for me. The pool was great and they have activities on the pool deck for the kids also. There is a mall close by and also an outlet shopping center if you like to shop. You didn't say if there were kids or just adults going. In my opinion, there is plenty for the kids to do right at the resort. Adults will probably want to venture away from the resort to see the sights.

You can rent bikes at the resort and go on the Historic Jungle Trail. They have a map and information at Ebb and Flos.

Depends..... do you like to get up, go to the pool or beach and REALLY relax. I mean the type of relax when you can sleep in, read a book, get some sunshine, take an occasional dip in the pool or ocean and have a frozen cocktail.... If you answered yes then don't worry!
