Any experience with Verizon's LTE internet? They have an amazing deal right now and I'm about ready to try something new.

We've been using Verizon since cell phones were just that (phones). But, what I've told everyone who asks what carrier to go with (especially on a message board)... what are things in YOUR area (or where you travel to) like? It doesn't matter if I have full bars of 5G service in Central Kentucky if you never visit the state.

As long as we've had service, Verizon has been very good for us. I'm not sure what more information you're looking for.

What speeds do you have now? What speeds are Verizon promising you? Do you have 5G? What are you paying now vs what Verizon will be charging? What are you looking to do with that internet. Verizon LTE isn't going to be as good for gaming or videoconferencing as hard wired options, but you won't notice a difference in most streaming or general web usage patterns.
I like the customer service I've gotten from Verizon much better than that I've gotten from Sprint, Spectrum, Comcast, but not as much as I've gotten from AT&T.

I have found Verizon's service to the best out there. T-Mo is making good progress, but you can't lose with VZ.

I too have had Verizon ever since phones were just phones. I’ve traveled all over the US for work and never had an issue with reception.

I think Verizon is starting to get aggressive in deals because they have been outmaneuvered by T-Mobile and AT&T. They have fallen behind on 5G and their edge against their competitors has evaporated.

Not around us. We're looking at new phones and staying with Verizon would cost us an extra $30/month and $150 "one time" fees (ATT has a deal w/AARP where your activation fees are waived).

Internet (wired/DSL/fiber/whatever they do now) at the home?
Or via the cell phone?

All of it depends on where you are located.

We have Verizon for cell phones.
AT&T for internet (no VZ service where we are at for internet)

To be clear, I'm talking about home internet. I would be replacing Spectrum.

In that case I dropped Verizon for home internet and switched to Xfinity/Comcast and have been very happy with it.
