Verizon gets the IPhone!!!

What's to understand? Some people enjoy gadgets just like some people enjoy seeing new movies, reading new books, listening to new songs... just like any hobby. I love gadgets, but my budget doesn't allow for me to buy things right when they come out. I guarantee I would if I could! But I also don't run out to see movies or buy extras for my home or fancy purses. What's wrong with enjoying what we enjoy?

At any rate, I'm looking forward to the day that I can make the switch to Verizon so I can get out of this AT&T hell! And, yes, I love my iPhone.

You have a good point. Different strokes for different folks. I do think that it is great that Verizon is giving another option for their customers. I know IPhones are very popular.

I don't know how I feel about this. I always planned to get an iPhone as soon as I could through Verizon, but I got a Droid when they first came out just to tide me over until I could get the iPhone and I actually really love it. I don't think I'm ready to switch at this point.

I consider it a phone that DH bought for me. I use it for calls, email, facebook, camera....all things I could do on a much less sophisticated phone, but I had no choice in the matter as I wasn't with him when he bought it, and really didn't care what he picked. Yes, hilarious....

Actually, I guess I would consider it a gadget but my point was I didn't run out and buy it simply because I needed the next big newest and best gadget. THAT is the part that I just simply don't understand. And, to head it off at the pass, no, I don't understand it in my DH either.

So you aren't into gadgets. That's understandable. Some people are. Some people are into designer labels, some like Disney vacations or books or video games or baskets or . . . well, people like all sorts of things. I don't understand why people like lots of the things they like, but I do understand that people like them. Surely there's something you enjoy that other people might not. Maybe you don't understand the appeal of the things some people like, but surely you can understand that other people can get enjoyment from things you might not find appealing.

An iPhone is just a phone... Until you play Angry Birds on it

The new policy is official, but as I posted it will not impact current users with a credit due to them once their contract is up. Check out item #6 for confirmation.

Basically you will get your NE2 credit when you upgrade, but this is your last one. Other fine print, your credit isn't infinite. You have to upgrade within a few weeks of your credit being due to you, or you will lose that credit forever. That was always there, but rarely enforced.
