verizon...droid vs eris

I have read and posted some questions already. I know the droid is a little faster. Just wondering your experiences with either phone. Do you get used to the touch screen?

My dh has the motorola eris..dh loves his phone b/c it has gps that doesn't require a monthly fee.I love mine and I did get used to the touch screan. I think either one is a good choice, depends on what you want.

I love my Droid. I chose it over the Eris primarily for the qwerty keyboard. The keyboard took some getting used to because it was smaller than the one on my previous phone, but after a few days I was able to use it with no problems. I've also gotten used to the touch screen and I like the onscreen keyboards more than I expected to. I don't know of anything that the Eris can do that the Droid can't do, but the Eris is lighter and less bulky than the Droid.

I my Droid. Before it came out, I was eyeing DH's Storm, but didn't like the fact that it didn't have a keyboard. You can't seperate me from this thing. It's so fast, has a multitude of apps to choose from and I love the navigation feature! It's like having a computer in your pocket. I love having a touch screen so much that at one point I found my self trying to slide the screen on my laptop before I realized I wasn't dealing with my phone.

so you have the one with the keyboard(motorola) or touch screen eris?


and does anyone know.... if you buy through Amazon (still Verizon carrier) do the Verizon rules still apply.... like the 30 day satisfaction guarantee and warranty?

I'm thinking about a Droid as well. Is there a place where you can view all the apps for them? I want to see if they have any good real estate based ones.
