Wednesday 6th August.
We had our alarms set for 7am today, as it was our breakfast at Cape May Café. We were out the room at 8am and checked in at 8.35 (ADR for 8.55). We were given a buzzer, but this went off as soon as we were sat down. This was a lovely breakfast, the restaurant wasnt too busy and had a relaxed atmosphere about it and we got to meet Minnie, Chip and Goofy. The food was yummy too, we sampled sausage, bacon, breakfast potatoes and asparagus; followed by some pastries. Simon also had the breakfast pizza which he liked a lot.
After a lovely breakfast we wandered round the beach club and out onto the beach, and of course a wander round the resort shop!
We had a short dip in the pool, then Evie went for an afternoon sleep, as we were staying up late at MK that evening. While the other two took their nap, I relaxed at the pool with my book, a bit of sunbathing and swimming in between, bliss!
At 2pm we were ready to head out, Simon fancied a drive out in his car, so we went for a drive up International Drive. We stopped at a few gift shops along the way and Simon got some Adidas Tshirts as well. We were hungry as we hadnt eaten since 9am so at 4 we stopped at Sizzler for dinner before heading to MK.
We parked in Pluto 19 and Evie got her first trip on a tram, which she loved, she was also very excited to be back on the onerail (monerail!) as she has come to call it! We started in TomorrowLand and got some Fastpasses for Buzz, then went on TTA which Evie liked (except the bit in the dark!). We walked round to IASW again as E was desperate to go on, stopping for a pink lemonade somewhere along the way. After another ride on IASW, with E singing at the top of her voice, we went back for our FP at Buzz, which we all loved as usual. There was just a while left before SpectroMagic, so we had a couple of goes on the Flying carpets before staking out our Spot on Main Street.
We got some treats from Main Street Candy place, lollies for E and drinks for us and watched the wonderful SpectroMagic, then Wishes, which wasnt too successful as Evie hates fireworks and was beside herself, so we had to hide in a shop!!!
So we took a very tired little girl back to her bed.
We agreed that it had been another very successful day.
