I am trying to plan a week in November 2008 at BWV. Was anyone there VD weekend this year? How crowded was it? I was thinking of Nov. 6th through the 13th. That is Thursday to Thursday. What would be the least crowded time to go? Food and Wine ends on Sunday the 9th. VD is Tuesday the 11th. Please help . . . :confused3 Thanks!!

We are usually at WDW over Veteran's Day. This year it wasn't that bad at all with the exception of Epcot on Saturday, but it was the last weekend of F&W, so that explains the crowds.

Hey, thats our week........actually we are booking the exact same week if everything goes well. We went last year at this time and the parks were fairly crowed, not only F&W but its generally the SuperSoap Weekend and Jersey week.

We were there this year, too, (8-14th) and ITA! I think that Sat. was also EMH?
We avoided MGM over the weekend so I don't know how bad that was :confused3

    (absolutely nothing to do with this post but DD is begging me to add these :) )

We were at BWV 11/11-11/15 this year. I didn't think the resort was crowded at all and the parks were very manageable. Our only crowded day was 11/11 at Epcot because of the last day of F&W but it was still okay to walk around and sample all the food. We walked on Nemo & Figment too.

We were at OKW this year from 11/11 to 11/17. Things were pretty busy on the 11th due to lots of check-ins and outs. We had dinner at LTT that evening and there were no crowds. Monday we hit AK about mid morning and it got crowded later in the day. Rest of the week was smooth sailing and no crowds at all! I was even able to reserve the Breathless Cruise for that Tues.

DH's birthday is on the 11th so we are there every year for Veterans Day. Crowds never seem to be an issue unless it coincides with Food and Wine.

We were there 11/6-11/14. It definitely picked up over the weekend. The last Sat. of Food and Wine, we waited 75 minutes for Soaring. It was my brother's only chance to ride it b/f going home and he hadn't been to WDW since 1986. (Needless to say, he said it was well worth the wait!)

We avoided MGM b/c of Soap Weekend. We did do the EMH that Sunday night and it was dead.

MK was really crowded that Monday.

It was a fantastic trip, though! We just tried to make the weekend more down time than park time.
